Uminomori Park Administration Office
This facility provides park usage information and guidance.
The building also has accessible restrooms and a nursing room.

Uminomori Visitor Center
An exhibition facility where you can learn about the history and origins of Uminomori Park through panels and videos.

Children's Playground
A playground featuring inclusive play equipment that everyone can enjoy safely, along with rest areas.
Waiwai Plaza
A play area featuring a large combination playground structure approximately 14 meters tall.
Gathering Meadow
A vast open meadow of lush greenery. It is also used as an event venue when large-scale events are held.
Fureai Grove
A meadow lined with groves, featuring two ponds known as the West Pond and East Pond. The trees are still growing as this area develops into a place for woodland recreation.
West Hill
Offers panoramic views of landmarks such as Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Skytree. On clear days with clean air, you can also enjoy a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji.
East Hill
The highest elevation point in Koto City, offering beautiful views of the Tokyo Gate Bridge.
Terrace
An open terrace with views of Tokyo Port and the Tokyo Rinkai Fukutoshin waterfront area. Also recommended as a photo spot for commemorative pictures.
Valley
A hidden spot where a phantom stream appears only after heavy rainfall.
Imperial Planting Forest
Here you can see the ginkgo, sudajii (Castanopsis sieboldii), and Oshima cherry trees planted by Their Majesties the Emperor Emeritus and Empress Emerita during the 47th National Tree Planting Festival held in May 1996.
BBQ Area
Advance reservation is required to use the BBQ area. Usage is free of charge. Visitors must bring their own food and equipment.

A paved, covered all-weather BBQ area is planned for future development.

Park Overview
PARK OVERVIEW
The area where Uminomori Park now stands was once a "garbage island," formed by landfill from waste generated in central Tokyo Bay.
To transform this garbage island into a beautiful forest teeming with diverse wildlife, the "Uminomori Project" was launched under the concepts of "resource recycling" and "citizen collaboration," and Uminomori Park was born.
Soil was created using branches and leaves from parks and street trees throughout Tokyo, while seedlings needed for forest creation were grown from acorns by elementary school students and volunteers. A total of approximately 240,000 trees were planted through the cooperation of around 23,000 citizens, organizations, corporations, and NPOs, centered around the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
Today, the forest has grown to nurture diverse wildlife.
Uminomori Park is a vast, verdant park where visitors can learn from and enjoy the nature that was reborn through the hands of so many people.
The park also plans to host events for nature experiences, sports, and wellness activities.

Its special skills are tree climbing, water play, and picking up litter.
